Confidence: A Very Important Key to Greatness

If you worry about what people have to say about you, it's because you have more confidence in their opinion than you have of your own.

If you let people's opinion of you to matter, you are finished, they are going to keep you down forever. For me, the more they talk, the more positive energy I receive to impact lives. Who gives a crap? If there's another name for resilience, Amara Blessing Van-Lare, née Nwosu is it.

If you must live; if you must enjoy this life and finish well in your 'WHY',  you need confidence and that as soon as possible.

In Acts chapter 20:22-24, Apostle Paul said

"And now, compelled by the Spirit and obligated by my convictions, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there, except that the Holy Spirit solemnly [and emphatically] affirms to me in city after city that imprisonment and suffering await me. But I do not consider my life as something of value or dear to me, so that I may [with joy] finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify faithfully of the good news of God’s [precious, undeserved] grace [which makes us free of the guilt of sin and grants us eternal life]."

He cared less about the convictions of other people;  it was more about his own convictions. He was ready, ever ready to take risks and follow his own spirit and the Spirit of God.

This is the spirit you need if you really want to live. Successful people are risk takers. Successful people know when to shut their ears to background noise and speaking voices. Become like the sons of Issachar who understood times and seasons.

Take that risk today. If it works out well, fine; if it doesn't work out well, all fine and good, you would pick up lessons from it and those lessons cannot be acquired from Harvard. When experience speaks, the difference is always clear.

I  don't want to live just studying and following people's lives; I want people to, one day, study and follow my life just the way I study and follow others. This is why I won't stop taking risks and being daring.

Now, take a step into that relationship. Your heart wants the relationship and so it's time to shut everyone out and give it a try. If you fail, you won't be the first to fail. Just follow the Holy Spirit in this journey of life. Stop wanting your life to go the way your sister's life is going. You are not your sister; you are you with a different  'WHY'.
