An Advice for the Abroad Syndrome.

Good day Aunty Amara. May God continue to bless the good work you are doing in people's lives. Thank you .
I'm posting in regards to the young girl that (is) was dating a Switzerland guy(Click Here) . My very good friend thought she has caught a mugu, the guy is based in the UK.
She will boast and talk about him always. Anyways I'm a married woman with a kid so I wasn't bothered at all. She saw I and other of our friends settling for Nigerian based guys and thought we were wasting our times and being fools.
This UK guy told her he bought an IPad and phone for her, even showed her pictures, that when he's coming to Nigeria he'll bring it for her.
Later on he called and told her he couldn't travel again because something urgent held him back, but since she wanted the laptop and iPad asap, she should send him some money so that he will post it to her.
This my friend send him N40000 without even telling me. As soon as the guy saw the alert, he switch off his phone and that was the end of the whole drama. Up until now she has not received a word from him.
She was so devastated cos according to her she was in love with him. Hmmm please our girls beware, this should serve as a lesson for this abroad syndrome. I will go to abroad surely someday with my lovely hubby and beautiful daughter.
Getting married to a man lives in Nigeria doesn't mean God will not open ways to travel abroad later in the future. Thank you.

A word they say is enough for the wise. Not all that glitters is gold. Though there are genuine men and ladies who work hard to take good care of their needs, there are also  many who exploit the vulnerability of the greedy and ignorant individuals who desire to live in abroad, and they end up defrauding, delaying and destroying their future.
Please don't jump into abroad suitors simply because you desire to settle in abroad.
Where there's nothing wrong with desiring the best for yourself, always remember this word of admonition, 'But godliness with contentment is great gain', 1 Timothy 6:6 ESV
