After Giving Him a Son, He Treats Me This Way.

Good evening sis Amara, I have been following you for a long time now and I have learnt many things from your advice, so please help me out.

I got married five years ago and I had a still-birth for three times. After the third one, my hubby started misbehaving, he started sleeping outside. He asked me to park and go that he's not interested in me anymore, that he's tired for the miscarriage, so I left and stayed in an uncompleted building.

After a month, I noticed I was pregnant. I called him, he said all manner of bad words, that he's not responsible for my pregnancy.

At last he came and took care of me till I put to bed, and the baby is ten months now.  I asked him to get me out of the uncompleted house, he went and rent one room for me and my child with his 10 years old brother that he brougt to stay with me.

I asked him if he's going to live with us, he said no that if I am not okay by that, I should go to the village.

Sister Amara, this is a man I suffered for, for three times miscarriages, now that I have given him a baby boy, he's behaving like this. Please sister help me, what will I do? Thanks, and may God increase your wisdom, Amen.

Always remember that your life, health, safety, happiness and peace of mind/life is your sole responsibility. This is irrespective of whether you are married or not, or for whosoever you feel that you are suffering for. 

Nobody is worth dying for, and there is no justifiable reason for any human being to subject himself/herself to unnecessary pain and hardship all in the name of marriage. 

If he doesn't take care of your welfare and your beautiful son, please take up the responsibility and take care of yourself and your son. 

If you do not have sufficient resources to provide your basic need, please consider seeking help from your family or relatives, and set up yourself. 

Then, please endeavor to find a business or a job that you can do to take care of yourself and your son. It is very risky to venture into marriage without any means of livelihood or source of income. 

As for the marriage, there is a need for you and your husband to sit down and discuss the future of your marriage, so that you will decide whether it is healthy for you to continue with him or move on with your life.

You shouldn't subject yourself to become a victim of circumstances, instead, I will suggest that you take charge of the welfare and safety of you and your child, and create the kind of comfort you desire for yourself.
