He Vowed Never to Forgive my Dad!

Good morning my precious mama, my husband is very wicked to the extent of leaving the house without keeping money for food for us, he always beat me to extent that I will collapsed. On Friday he came home by 11:37pm he came to my room, started asking me for his food, I told him there was no money to cook that he doesn't keep money for food.
He started beating me, flogging me with belt, he did not mind our seven months old baby that was crying. I now called my daddy that midnight that's when he left me. My dad was mad at him, after everything he called my dad that's when my dad told him you're calling me after beating his daughter that he is a foolish man.
He picked that point that my dad called him a foolish man that he can never forgive my dad unless he begs him, I have N60, 000 but I don't know the business I will start with it. I know it's too late for me to start with the little. I don't want to send him again, I want to be alive and train my three children. God bless.

Please if your husband continues to beat you or physically abuse you, kindly take your children and return to your parents so that your family and his family can negotiate the terms and conditions of your marriage.
It's extremely painful for anyone to abuse another physically or emotionally for any reason or purpose and should be discouraged in strong terms.
It's obvious that your husband is not willing to take the responsibility for his family and his children and you cannot continue asking for feeding money when you can organise yourself and start some business that will fetch you some funds to take care of your family.
Research on your environment and go for a business with a high turn over and moderate gain. Do not invest all your funds in the business or go into a business where your family will eat half of the cost of the business.
You may consider acquiring some skills and vocational training that will make you self employed and provide enough funds for your daily needs.
As regards to what your father said, leave him and his conscience to sort that out but as for you, please do not tolerate physical abuse because your children will suffer much more should anything happen to you.

  2. Whenever I read articles on domestic violence I wonder if the women these violence are meted upon are under a spill? How can you live with someone who is determined to end your life and won't stop until he achieves it. There are a lot 60k can do for you. It may be below what you enjoy in the man's house but with God and hard work your little business or what ever it is will grow. Please take your kids and run back to your parents house. Your husband paid bride price not slave price.

    1. It's very easy for you to judge. Step into her shoes let's see how well you handle the situation. Don't just run your mouth cos a lot of things are involved. Never forget that the fear of being alone and/or of starting all over is very terrifying especially if a lot has been invested in the marriage. It's not soo easy to just pack up and leave.

  4. You collapsed this time around and now he has even vowed not to forgive your dad. Too bad. Just like Mrs Amara advised, the earlier you go to parents place with your kids, the better. It's better to be alive and train your children than praying for them from the afterlife. Your husband is comfortable treating you the way he does because he hasn't been charged with domestic violence and assault. Some men are very wicked for sure and that's why we advice ladies hoping to get married soon to avoid bad marriage, and if they by chance get into a bad marriage, take necessary measures.

Concerning starting up a business with 60k, you can survey the market and know what you can handle at this trying times of our economy. God bless you.
