I have a guy that gives me the exact amount I used on my transport fare each time I visit, the exact amount that will take me home or lesser amount, a times that will even need my adding the little I have to pay my way back..

Well, the junk food that you eat didn't fall from heaven but someone paid for it which I feel that you should be grateful for.
It's obvious that he's tolerating you and he doesn't seem to be so much in love with you. I mean who gives a lady #100 for transport and still claim to be in love with her?
What I suggest is that you encourage him to visit you so that you can host him in your own area, buy him a junk food or perhaps prepare a delicious meal for him, then give him some transport for him to return back. I'm certain that doing so will send a good message to him and he may learn from that never to treat you like a left over.
But whether he's stingy or selfish, the handwriting is clear for you to see and it's left for you to decide whether he's the best for you or you need a friend, a man who genuinely cares about your happiness and wouldn't embarrass himself by treating you like a toy.
I totally agree with Amara- the man is sending a signal that you need to take note of. And why would you even collect the #100?
