Good day ma, please I need your advice. I lost my mum when I was small and my dad died 2013 before I went for my youth service. Am 25 years old working in an oil company as an engineer, my fiancee is an engineer by profession.
It all started when my fiancee came to see my people for the second time, my sister called my uncle, he told her that my fiancee should come so so date, I took permission from the office, behold in my presence my uncle told my fiancée that am a prostitute, that am doing prostitution in Port Harcourt.
I thank God it was my fiancée that disvirgined me, although I did not tell them that am working, except my immediate family and my fiancée. Immediately I called my elder sister and told her what my uncle said, she started crying, and said is it because our parents are no more?
So my fiancée told my uncle that all his life that he never wished to marry a decent girl like his daughter, that he prefer a prostitute like me, that he should not bother. My cousin slapped my fiancée, so out of annoyance my fiancée told her that is her father that will do her burial not him, so my sister called my brother because he is not in Nigeria, he said we should wait till December since he will be in Nigeria by then.
After four months, my fiancée's best friend that came back from U.S., he stayed long in Abuja before coming down to east, that time my fiancee travelled to Lagos, so he begged him to come down to east that he want to show him the pretty damsel he wants to marry.
I was in his house that day, I prepared fried rice and chicken waiting for them, when the guy arrived with his babe, behold It was my cousin! I greeted them very well, my cousin was dumbfounded. So my fiancee was busy laughing seriously, and said what goes around must surely comes around, so his friend asked him why he made that comments, not knowing that both of them use to talk very well, he told the guy it was his girl that slapped him the day he came to our house, the guy told the girl that he is calling everything off, that she is wicked, that the marriage will not hold again.
He collected the girl's phone and deleted his no, the girl cried, and started begging my fiancée, but he told her that he has forgiven her that he has nothing against her, and she is pregnant for the guy.
Now the guy told her that he will take care of the baby if she want but anything marriage she should count him out. My question is this, should I beg my fiancée on my cousin's behalf? And the guy's younger sister introduce her friend to her brother, now the guy wants to marry the girl in two months time. My cousin is now begging me to plead to the guy on her behalf, but the guy in question is difficult. Aunty Amara, please help me, am confused, to the extent I can no longer concentrate. Thank you ma.
Always remember that you are never in a position to reward anyone for their actions and decisions but God. She's your blood and she's your sister, although her dad made mockery of your personality and although she slapped your fiancé, choose to let go, forgive her and forgive her father.
Let your fiancé know that forgiving her will be the best way to reward her and also receive divine outpouring of God's blessings upon your marriage. Let him know that both of you need to show her mercy and not reward her for her wickedness towards you.
Your fiancé can plead with his friend and I am hopeful that he will reconsider and possibly forgive her of her actions.
But if that doesn't work out and his best friend feels that she's not good enough for him, please respect his decision and let him be. You cannot force him to marry a lady who is disrespectful and without manners.
I love this story. So amusing.. What goes around definitely comes around. For me, I choose to forgive but nature takes it turn.
ReplyDeleteThis is Gud, also an eye opener to dem ladies not married but think dat support evil is d best.
ReplyDeleteHmmm for me I will forgive but I can't plead on her behalf. For Christ's sake she hurt your man's pride by slapping him before your family. Her type can fight her husband at home and you will be blamed for helping reconcile them. For the rest of her life she will be bold to tell anyone that cares to listen that she slapped your man and nothing happened. Please allow them reconcile if they wish to but don't plead on her behalf
ReplyDeleteHeed to Amara advice, but I don't feel that ur cousin is a good wife material
