Is there anything in this life that is more important than family? After our relationship with God and assurance of peace in eternity, family is our greatest blessing.
Pursue your career, but never at the expense of family.
Pursue your ministry, but never at the expense of family.
Pursue your friends, but never at the expense of family.
A time will come when your supple skin grows wrinkled and frail.
A time will come when your "Vanessa Williams eyes" grow dim.
A time will come when those strong bones become brittle and in need of support.
A time will come when the 'six-pack' or sexy/curvy body is gone.
A time will come when you can no longer spend all night with friends.
A time will come when your job has to dump you for someone stronger and younger.
Family would be all you need; someday soon. Work hard and take care of your family but don't lose family in the process of working hard.
When everyone and everything is gone, you have family to fall back on.
And what happens if your family(your wife/husband and children) who you have no relationship with today, then decide to pay you back in your own coin?
Don't lose family in your struggle to win the world. Treat them right today and have a peaceful retirement. Your career won't spend retirement with you; your spouse and children will.
