So allow him to feed himself, and then listen to whatever discoveries he made. If a man genuinely respects you or believes in you, he will give you the courtesy of making enquiries from you instead of relying on the opinion of others.
Give him some time, allow him to make his own enquiries, and always be as honest and truthful as possible.
If he's comfortable with everything about your personality, he will stick with you, else you may let him go and wait for a man who won't put you under pressure by relying on others to learn more about you.
